Oct. 28, 2008 I had a great time at the Art Auction on Oct. 25, 2008.  I never attended
one before so I didn't know what to expect, but it was so much fun and it
was great to see people I hadn't seen in a long time!

Looking forward to the next event.

Sept. 11, 2008 Hi, Class of 1958!

I was recently back to Astoria and visited Immac with my wife. Had a great time chatting and reminiscing with Sr. Jeanne (a former principal) about school days at Immac, and living in Astoria, in the 50's... got to show my wife the stage where I played the role of Scrooge in our 8th grade production of "A Christmas Carol"... visited the church and had memories of my altar boy days... even got to have a spumoni ice at La Guli's...

Would love to hear from others in Sr. Mary Charles' 8th grade class!

March 11, 2008 I am a 1954 graduate of ICS.  I was unable to attend the 06 Reunion.  I just went to this website today and found the picture of Mike Cleary and Mike Brassil.  It brought back many memories.  Hope you will have another reunion soon. It is so nice to see the pictures of our old school.  The building looks much the same as it did 54 years ago.

I recently attended the reunion on Oct. 21st of this year along with my sister Maureen.  We are both alumni of Immac, graduating in the sixties.  We enjoyed our evening of meeting with old friends and fellow alumni.

As with many of you, my family no longer lives in the Astoria area, so I am asking for help from those of you still living in the Immac community.  Our youngest Brother Cliff, has been missing for months now.  Although he never attended Immac, he like us grew up in Astoria and returns there when he has nowhere else to turn.  It is home to him.  He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and along with other health issues, seems to have given up.  He is a forty year old adult, capable of making his own decisions but we fear he may need some assistance.  We as a family just need to know how he is doing and if he needs anything including our help.  We lost our Mother in 1997 and our Brother Bill in 1999 to cancer.  Our Father is getting very concerned over not knowing of his condition.

My Father and I live in Florida and although I make frequent trips to NY, I have been unable to locate my Brother during these visits.  That is why I have decided to reach out to anyone whom may have any knowledge of his whereabouts.  If anyone has information regarding Cliff Avery, height, 5'10", brown, thinning hair, weight approx, 225lbs., please contact me at vnlavery@earthlink.net or you can call me toll free at 888-465-6928.
Thank you and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Regards to all,
Vince Avery
